Our thanks to colleagues who provided feedback and reaction to our recent article on the pending EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).  For those following this subject and (like us) trying to understand it better, here are a couple of useful links for additional reading and study:

1. The Certification Body (CB) “Preferred by Nature” have a very comprehensive summary on their website.  As an organization, PbN seem curiously pleased at the prospect of EUDR implementation, but their detailed outlines are nonetheless very helpful.
2. The UK-based NGO “Earthsight” posted an interesting article providing some helpful context for why this is happening.  Their perspective is – in our view – somewhat flawed, but still worth understanding.
